Celebrating the Magic of Childhood in Central Houston
Shining Star School is a home-away-from-home for children where the essence of childhood is respected. Shining Star’s curriculum is inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner and Waldorf Education. We offer programs for children 18 months through 6 years old and are exploring the possibility of starting a grades program.

Our campus is located on the beautiful grounds of the Unitarian Fellowship of Houston, approximately 8 miles west of downtown Houston. Shining Star School is a member of the Waldorf Early Childhood Association, an affiliate of LifeWays North America and a Texas-licensed childcare facility.
